Drawings

This series developed as an experiment with Mishima, a traditional Korean technique of inlaying color into carved lines in clay.  Photographs of Northern Michigan, vintage magazine advertisements, favorite movies and TV series have all been used to create these pieces.  These pieces are my way of “working” when I need a break from throwing, glazing and firing.
